[Folksy guitar music] Bill Jacobson: It’s kind of exciting when
you’ve got 20 acres of pick-your-own going, and it’s just full of thousands of people
and everyone’s having fun. That’s very rewarding. [Folksy guitar music] Ron Branch: Probably you know, the first thing
is planning, and not only planning growing, but planning how you’re going to market the strawberries at the end. So you’ve got lots of factors that go in there. [Folksy guitar music] Steve Poppe: Well here we’re standing in a
new, completely different type of growing system for strawberries. This is called a day-neutral, low tunnel strawberry system. [Folksy guitar music] Mary Jo Forbord: And we’re certified organic and people were asking for berries that were certified organic. [Folksy guitar music] [Raking sounds] Jerry Untiedt: We do a lot of marketing in
a lot of different ways. We like to think that we’re very diverse in
the crops we grow and the way we disburse them into the marketplace. [Folksy guitar music] Bill Jacobson: You know, farming is a lifestyle. You’ve got to balance the farm life, the family
life, and all those expectations. You have to work it out so you’re happy. [Folksy guitar music] [Bird sounds]
