American agricultural goods in response to president Trump’s latest tariff
increase proposal according to a report by Bloomberg on Monday the Chinese
government has asked its state-owned enterprises to suspend purchases of US
agricultural goods sources also say privately run Chinese companies that
received retaliatory tariffs waivers on American Soybean from Beijing have
stopped purchasing in the commodity due to the ongoing uncertainties this comes
as President Trump announced last week his plans to slap 10% tariffs on the
remaining 300 billion dollars of Chinese imports into the US he accused Beijing
of not following through on its pledge to resume purchases of American farm
products
